The aim of the TU+1 programme is to encourage self-employed people or single-person limited companies, without dependent workers, to hire people indefinitely. We explain it in detail below:
Amount of the subsidy
The subsidy consists of an amount of 22,320 euros for each full-time permanent contract.
Who is it for?
- To self-employed workers without dependent salaried workers.
- In single-person limited companies (SLUs) without dependent employees .
- To self-employed workers with one or more collaborating self-employed workers in their charge, provided that the new permanent contract is not formalised with these collaborating self-employed workers.
In order to apply for this aid, the self-employed worker or the company must have been active for at least one year and have not had any workers hired during the last six months.
What characteristics should the contract have?
- It must be an indefinite contract.
- The contract must be maintained for a minimum of 18 months from the start date of the contract.
- The person hired must be unemployed and registered with the SOC as an unemployed job seeker (DONO) before the contract is formalised.
- The working day must be at least 50% of the working day established in the applicable collective agreement or the maximum legal working day. If the contract is part-time, the amount of the subsidy will be reduced proportionally.
- The contract must be formalised after submitting the application and within a maximum period of 3 months, counted from the day following the award decision. This period cannot be extended.
