The grant for drawing up an equality plan aims to promote equal treatment and equal opportunities in SMEs and organisations with fewer than 50 employees. An equality plan helps attract and retain talent, improve the working environment and build fairer, more competitive companies. Here is everything you need to know:

Grant amount

The grant consists of a direct payment of €2,500 per beneficiary organisation.

Who is it for?

  • SMEs and companies in Catalonia with fewer than 50 employees.
  • Organisations in Catalonia with fewer than 50 employees.
  • That are not legally required to have an equality plan but wish to implement one on a voluntary basis.

To apply for this grant, the equality plan negotiating committee must not have been set up before the application is submitted.

How is the grant awarded?

  • On a non-competitive basis, that is, in strict order of receipt of applications.
  • Until the total budget of €250,000 is used up.
  • Applications must be submitted online only through the official Generalitat de Catalunya procedures portal.
  • The grants are co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus (PCAT+).

What is the deadline?

  • The deadline is 8 November 2026. As grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, we recommend that you don’t leave it until the last minute.
