It seems unbelievable, but in a week’s time a new Income Tax campaign will begin – as time flies! – and as every year many citizens have doubts about whether or not they should file the tax return. Well, here’s the answer.
As a general rule, all those who have received more than 22,000 euros gross in 2016 are obliged to file an income tax return. It must also be done by all people who have worked in two or more positions during the year and have earned more than 12,000 euros, provided that in the second and other positions (except the main one) more than 1,500 euros have been paid between all of them.
In addition, if you have sold a flat, car park or any other property during the past year or if you have earned more than 1,600 euros in interest or dividends, you must also file the tax return even if you do not reach the income limits specified in the previous paragraph. And it is that as happens in almost everything in life, there are always exceptions to the general rule.
Fortnightly article on Income Tax2016
From today, Gestingral will publish a fortnightly article in this newspaper informing and resolving doubts about this year’s Income Tax campaign, which officially starts on 5 April. Thus, we are already giving visiting hours with everyone who requests it so that they can come and make the return and collect the refund as soon as possible (#RendaGestingral).
