What is a digital certificate?

A digital certificate is an online identification system, which allows you to be accredited to the Public Administration to carry out any procedure, and which even allows you to sign any document with the same validity as a handwritten signature. It is also known as a digital signature or electronic certificate.

It is not the same as the “Cl@ve PIN”, nor the “Permanent Cl@ve”, nor the “iDCat Mobile”, which are different identification systems that do not allow all the procedures to be carried out.

  1. You must have the DNIe physically, and remember its password .
  2. If you do not remember your password, you must go to the National Police Station (Vapor Street 19, Vilanova i la G.) and carry out the following two procedures:
    1. No appointment is required. Before entering the police station, insert your DNIe into the machine, mark “I don’t remember my password”. Follow the steps marked by the machine, putting your fingerprints to accredit yourself. Enter a password that will need to be remembered later.
    2. Once the password has been renewed, you will need to tick the “Renew certificates” option, and follow the steps set by the machine.
  3. Then, you will have to come to the Gestingral offices (no appointment is required), where we will take care of the rest of the procedure (between 5 and 10 minutes).

  2. At Gestingral, we ask you for an appointment at the Tax Office of your choice. The most common are:
    • Vilanova i la Geltrú Tax Office: Cr. Cristòfol Raventós, 12
    • Tax Office in Vilafranca del Penedès: Cr. Sant Julià, 4
    • Tax Office in Barcelona: Pl. Doctor Letamendi, 13
    • Tax Office in Tarragona: Rambla Nova, 93
  3. On the day and time specified, you will need to go to the Tax Office with a 9-digit number that we will provide you, in addition to your valid ID card.
  4. At Gestingral we take care of the rest of the procedure.

  1. You must have a valid DNI, NIE or passport.
  2. At Gestingral, we take care of preparing the procedure and ask you for an appointment at Vilanova i la Geltrú Town Hall.
  3. On the day and time specified, you will need to go to the OAC of the Vilanova i la Geltrú City Council with your valid ID card.
  4. You must return to Gestingral to provide us with the document that they will have given you at the City Council, and we will take care of the rest of the procedure.

  1. You must have the digital certificate of the sole administrator or one of the joint administrators, as long as it has been obtained by appointment with the Treasury.
  2. At Gestingral, we take care of the rest of the procedure.

  1. You must have a valid ID card.
  2. At Gestingral, we ask you for an appointment at the Tax Office of your choice. The most common are:
    • Vilanova i la Geltrú Tax Office: Cr. Cristòfol Raventós, 12
    • Tax Office in Vilafranca del Penedès: Cr. Sant Julià, 4
    • Tax Office in Barcelona: Pl. Doctor Letamendi, 13
    • Tax Office in Tarragona: Rambla Nova, 93
  3. On the day and time specified, you will need to go to the Tax Office with a 9-digit number that we will provide you, in addition to your valid ID card and a certificate from the Commercial Registry relating to the appointment of the representative (which we will have provided you with from Gestingral)*.
  4. At Gestingral we take care of the rest of the procedure.

*In the case of representation by proxy and not by administrator or similar, it will be necessary to bring the deed of powers of attorney with a special clause.

  1. You must have a valid ID card.
  2. At Gestingral, we ask you for an appointment at the Tax Office of your choice. The most common are:
    • Vilanova i la Geltrú Tax Office: Cr. Cristòfol Raventós, 12
    • Tax Office in Vilafranca del Penedès: Cr. Sant Julià, 4
    • Tax Office in Barcelona: Pl. Doctor Letamendi, 13
    • Tax Office in Tarragona: Rambla Nova, 93
  3. On the day and time specified, you will need to go to the Tax Office with a 9-digit number that we will provide you, in addition to your valid ID card and the CB incorporation contract. Important: it must be taken into account that in the constitution of the CB it is not specified that all the community members are joint and several representatives, all the participants of the CB must appear at the Tax Office.
  4. At Gestingral we take care of the rest of the procedure.

  2. At Gestingral, we ask you for an appointment at the Tax Office of your choice. The most common are:

  3. On the day and time specified, you will need to go to the Tax Office with a 9-digit number that we will provide you, in addition to your valid ID card and the SCP incorporation contract. Important: it must be taken into account that in the event that the constitution of the SCP does not specify that all the partners are joint and several representatives, all the members of the SCP must appear at the Tax Office.
  4. At Gestingral we take care of the rest of the procedure.
