In the past few weeks, many Rodalies users have been affected by small disruptions in the tracks across the entire railway network.

We now review the following points:

  • Telecommuting: It is recommended, not mandatory, in cases where it is allowed and required.
  • Leave for inability to reach the workplace: The Workers’ Statute recognizes a paid, non-recoverable leave for the inability to access the workplace. This leave can only be applied if the employee has no alternative transport to Rodalies to get to work.
  • Leave for inability to travel with Rodalies: In case the worker encounters an impediment to get to work with Rodalies, and even though alternative transport is available, does not go to work. The leave will not be paid.
