If you have bought a car and you have benefited from a Pive Plan, be very careful when filing your income tax return! Many people don’t know it, but this ‘aid’ must be added to the general calculation of income for the year in which you bought the vehicle. If you don’t, you expose yourself to a parallel, and therefore, to the relevant fine.
At Gestingral we find ourselves with sanctions every year for this reason. Apart from the understandable general ignorance, another handicap is that these aids, incomprehensibly, do not usually appear among the tax data sent by the Treasury (draft). All this makes mistakes in this matter common.
For this reason, our advice is clear: to avoid surprises, we recommend that if you benefit from a Pive Plan, you keep all your documents in a folder and take them directly to your advisor in the next Income Tax campaign. The Treasury, in recent campaigns, is putting a lot of focus on these ‘aids’ and does not let any of them pass. Don’t gamble. Prevention is better than cure.
