People with children with disabilities have the right to receive 100 euros per month, or if they prefer, to have the Treasury pay them 1,200 euros when filing their income tax return.

However, what do you need to know if you opt for the second route? That either the income tax return is filed or form 121 is filed. We insist: it is absolutely essential that all families with a child or children with a disability file the tax return regardless of the amount of income they have obtained during the last year or file the new form 121. If this is not done, the Treasury will not pay, even if the taxpayer is entitled to it.

At Gestingral, every year we solve cases in which ignorance has been on the verge of leaving taxpayers without thousands of euros. For deductions related to disability –be careful, because people with parents with disabilities in their care are also entitled to it- or for large families (we will explain this in the next article), which also generates some controversy.

Gestingral solves your doubts

During this Income Tax campaign, Gestingral will publish a fortnightly article in this newspaper informing and resolving doubts about the tax return. The office is also already giving hours so that anyone who wants to can come and take the 2016 Income Tax return and receive professional advice. (#RendaGestingral).
